Dartmouth Park.....Camden, London
This bespoke mixed contemporary Shaker kitchen in Camden, North London was made in solid sprayed tulipwood with birch ply interiors and soft close drawers . It was created to be part of a new build extension in partenship with the architect and client. All the exteriors were sprayed with a high quality finish and then hand finished on site. The table island was modelled on a victorian design and housed 8 drawers - 4 on each side and creates an excellent prep space. The worktop on the table island was made with 4 planks of solid oak, rather than usual small strips of timber. The drawers under the hob had useful partitions for pan lids which work really well. The overall design included a pantry accessed through fluted glass doors which we made specially to fit on runners recessed into the floor. To the side of the fridge and freezer is a built in bespoke birch ply pull out larder which is much more attractive and useful than the usual standard metal frame types. A further part of the design included a breakfast cupboard with door mounted shelving racks as well as some matching storage cupboads which is also served to conceal the staircase leading to the kitchen.
'Very few times have we had a bespoke kitchen made for us, so this was almost a first. Matthew from Matthew Woodworks did an absolutely amazing job and both my client and myself are very happy with the end result. Lets showcase the kitchen which is an absolute triumph. Thanks Matthew'
