Pricing and planning
When planning interior joinery - and a kitchen in particular - as much lead time as possible is important to ensure every element is thought through carefully allowing time for the design to develop and mature sufficiently before commencement. We will work with you from initial stages through to a full set of 3D design drawings to construction in our workshop and final fitting. Unlike other kitchens, we are able to make our cabinets to any size or shape to best make use of the available space and avoid the unsightly application of unsightly 'filler' pieces.

The initial meeting will focus on both how best to use the available space and the range of materials and approaches. Following this we will provide you with a fully costed estimate. Prices for the kitchens we make range from around £15k for a small, £16-20k for a medium size to £20-35k for a large and complex kitchen. This is the price for the joinery and fitting but also includes full drawings and the work we do with you to manage the project from start to finish.
Materials
Our panelled kitchens and other joinery are made with solid Tulipwood for both frames and doors. Tulipwood is a member of the poplar family and offers unrivalled stability and excellent painting properties which can be any colour of your choosing. Doors are traditional mortice and tenon construction with full depth tenons. Panels are made with 12mm birch ply and rebatted fully into the doors.
Drawers are made with either solid hardwood (usually oak or walnut) or birch ply and are sprayed with a hard wearing clear lacquer. Internal fittings such as larder shelves or drawer dividers are also made of hardwood or birch ply.

Where we do use a board material it will be a high quality birch ply or a veneered plywood as we try and avoid using mdf as much as possible. On contemporary kitchens we only use the best Medite moisture resistant boards which finish beautifully.
Drawer runners are 'Grasse Dynapro concealed full extension' which are silky smooth soft close. We also use high quality hinges and magnetic catches to ensure your kitchen functions perfectly for years ahead.
